About 

The Violence Against Women (VAW) Program of Central Region of Ontario is a collaboration of 38 different community agencies across Central Region that support a range of VAW services, including emergency shelters, counselling, transitional housing, and support programs for children who have witnessed violence. For more on the VAW Forum, please see below.

Navigating the Website

You can easily navigate through the pages using the navigation bar at the top of every page or the search engine in the top right corner.

On the Agencies page, you can view a collection of Spotlights that invite other agencies to learn more about each other. There is also a Directory page that will help you to quickly find out contact information of the 38 agencies. 

On the Committees page, search through the Working Groups, Regional Groups, and Special Interest Groups of the VAW Forum to find the most up-to-date information. Use the CAS Directory for more information on this collaboration.

On the Resources page, you will be able to find a break down of different training resources available for frontline workers, staff, and francophones. You can stay in the loop with upcoming opportunities for meetings and workshops that will be posted on the Calendar or that you can post to the Open Forum. The News page is for any current literature and updates from MCSS. 

The Archives page is an area to find resources from previous years.
